She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur August and Tyne Marie Raihala (Lehto); her husband Roy H. D. Jarvela; her brothers, Arthur Henry "Sonny" Raihala and Robert James Raihala; her great grandchild Jayden P Haavisto; and her close friends, Robert "Bob" Mahon and Lee Lamkin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Lanari of Ishpeming, MI and Jeanne Antonich (Mark) of Hibbing; her grandchildren, Angela Collard (Jason) of Esko, Tina Bambach (Greg) of Manistique, MI, Larry Lanari (Hannah Kunnari) of Eagan, MN, Jacquie Akstulewicz of Duluth, Dan Lanari (JoDee) of Los Lunas, NM, Lauren Antonich (Andrew Russell) of St. Paul, Alex Antonich of Minneapolis and Rachel Antonich of Minneapolis; and her great grandchildren, Chloe, Rylan, Nolan, Aiden, Quincie, Kaesen, Briele, Lexi, Jaylee and Giana.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church (901 4th St S, Virginia, MN 55792). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Gilbert Cemetery.
