He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard and Lydia; his wife Jean Louhi; his son David; his grandson Wesley; his siblings, Bobby, Albert, John, Billy, Joanne Palumbo and Nellie Palumbo; and his close friend Rosalie McComb.
He is survived by: his close friend Betty Chandler; his children, Mona Jones (Dave) of Buhl, MN, Sue Allen (Randy) of Lakeville, MN, Tom Lind of Hibbing, MN and Maria Zahorik (Scott) of Cherry, MN; his daughter-in-law Netty Lind; his siblings, Clinton Lind (Lois), Mary Alice Carlson (Ken) and Phyllis Gunderson (Wayne); his sisters-in-law, Brenda Lind and Barbara Lind; and his grandchildren, Rick Jones (Nico), Kelly Jones (Rachel), Joe Lind (Misty), Jesse Lind (Nita), Jon Lind (Angel), Brianna Elfering (Troy), Shane Allen, Chad Allen (Keshia), Steve Lind (Lindsay), Ken Lind, Josh Zahorik (Karrie) and Kim Pittman (Dustin). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
