She is survived by: her children, Michelle Laughlin of Virginia, Wanda Fultz (Don) of Iron, Brian Palokangas (Lora) of Virginia and Steven Palokangas (Laura) of Minneapolis; and her brothers, James Ranta of Wisconsin and Ed Ranta (Sherry) of Ohio.
