It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mariann Lowen of Hibbing, Minnesota, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Munter and Marie Munter (Matson); her husband Richard Lowen; her daughter Sara Marie Brown; and her close friend Edith Ann Suihkonen.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Jaynes, Red (Denise) and Clay; her son-in-law Mike Brown; her grandchildren, Beth Davies (Steve), Emma Keeler (Tom), Allie Jaynes, Taylor Jaynes, Samantha Lowen (Chais White), Ben Lowen (Erin Cullen), Meg Butler (Seth), Nik Lowen (Davinia Gangl) and Josh Mumme (Andrea); her great grandchildren, Sara, Lily, Cora, Freya, Arianna, Bella, Gabby, Eleanor, Holden and Benny; and her sister-in-law Barb Bomgaars. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Mariann's name.
