We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2021, at the age of 94, Leo Nelson of Hibbing, Minnesota, born in Milton, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nelson and Tilda Nelson (Axvig); his sons, Brian and Bob; and his son-in-law Randy Kreibich.
He is survived by: his wife Helga Nelson; his daughters, Carol Nelson of Hibbing and Karen Kreibich of Otsego, MN; his granddaughters, Jennifer Poppler (Victor) of Otsego and Heidi Vanderbeek (Jake) of Ely; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Jeffrey, Anna, Claire and Ruby; and his siblings, Doyle Nelson of Ely, Lorraine Seelen (Rusty) of Babbitt, Haldis Ruzynski of Coon Rapids, Elmer Peterson of Red Lodge, MT and Lee Peterson (Shelly) of Cambridge.
Memorials may be directed to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or the Sons of Norway.
