It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laine Arlene Verna (Hibbing, Minnesota), who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Konstu Perala and Feemia Perala. She is survived by: her sisters, Audrey Gurd of Grand Haven, MI and Janet Young of Duluth, MN; and her children, Karen Hansen of Duluth, MN, Beverly Delich of Duluth, MN, Theresa Schroeder (Bill) of Larimore, ND, Cheryl Dahlman (Jean) of Iron, MN, Kathy Putzel of Eveleth, MN. and David Laine of Eveleth, MN.. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
