He was predeceased by: his parents, Toivo Koski and Mary Koski (Piipponen); his stepmother Aina Koski; his aunt Lydia; and his uncle John Piipponen.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Salmi; his children, Lisa Brigger (Grant) of Colorado Springs, CO, Mary Maloney (Bryan) of Dallas, TX, Joel Koski of Hibbing and Jay Koski of Eveleth, MN; and his grandchildren, Haley and Dr. Hannah Brigger. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

Memorials are preferred.
