It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elgene Alfred Dropps of Hibbing, Minnesota, who passed away on September 12, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella M. Dropps (Mangle) and John Dropps; his wife Connie J Werth; and his siblings, Ione Stott, Colleen Anderson, Jean Nynas Mannila, Marie Mannila and Jack Dropps.
He is survived by: his children, Nadine Kantola of Hibbing, Wanda Taray (John) of Cherry, Brenda Lindquist (Jeff) of Alaska and Roy Dropps of Hibbing; and his sisters, Cecile Aker (Darryl Allen), Barbara Patla (Dave), Marge Colemer (Dave), Joan Juvrud and Gwen Waldron (Duane). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and MN guidelines, the family requests that precautions are taken by wearing masks and social distancing.
