It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Persson of Hibbing, Minnesota, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Persson and Edith Persson (Flank); and his children, Dennis and Donna Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Myrna Olson; his children, Darrold Persson (Laurie) of Hibbing, Debi Persson of Duluth, Dale Persson (Sandra) of Pengilly and David Persson (Denise) of Hibbing; his brother Rodney Persson (Dorothy) of Milaca, MN; and his grandchildren, Charity Scherer (Jon) of Toms River, NJ, Nikki Persson of Rosemont, MN, Dustin Persson of Eagan, MN, Amber Persson (Ben Valder), Shana Winter (Ben) of Medina, MN, Matt Lehna, Brooke Lehna (Tommy Hill), Billy Clifton (Tiffany) of Rogers, MN, Kacey Gerspach (Brett) of Brooklyn Center, MN, Leslie Persson (Dan Eull), Taylor Persson (Alexis Munter), Madison Persson (Issac Rocha), Isabelle Persson (Mike Moorman) and McGuire Persson of Hibbing, MN. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.
COVID rules require that facemasks be worn, social distancing will be practiced and that state mandated protocols be adhered to.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers that memorials be directed to Our Saviors Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Fairview Range Home Care and Hospice.
