She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Tekavec and Josephine Tekavec (Puzel); her husband Albert; and her brothers, Frank (Ann Tekavec) and Albert (Geri Tekavec).

She is survived by: her children, Roger (Janet) and Kathy Maki; her cousin Delores Peitso; and her pet Abby. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
