He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Allen and Alice Allen (Williams); his son-in-law Mel Lockhart; his grandson Casey Allen; his sisters, Patsy Allen, Dee Eggert and Phyllis Sapp; and his half-brother Richard Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Cindy Rach (Bill Cross), Carmen Lockhart, John Allen (Mary), Pam Richter (Joe), Mark Allen (Barb), Scott Allen (Gala), Matt Allen (Kelly), Curt Allen (Rana), Tim Allen, MaryJo Skjefte (Jim), Mike Allen (Dixie) and Hope Allen; his sisters, Peggy Werder, Vicki Johnson, Jan Hensley, Tulip Abelson and Diane Johnson; and his half-sister Cheri Kangas (Ray). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
