He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Williams and Josie Williams (Cornillie); his parents-in-law, Bernard and Gert Fleischacker; his granddaughter Shelby Peterson; his siblings, Nelson "Bud" Williams, Patricia Young (Lyle) and Sara Jean Matheson (Peter); and his brother-in-law Orris Beck.
He is survived by: his wife Janis of Hewitt; his children, Julie Peterson of Bluffton, Chad Williams (Lisa Pomeranz) of Hewitt, Tammy Baker (Bill) of Wadena, Cindy Williams of Hewitt, Jody Williams (Jeana Schaefer) of Hewitt, Jason Williams (Tara Christiansen) of Hewitt and Heidi Barthel (Jay) of New York Mills; and his siblings, Mary Beck, Edward Williams (Ann), John Williams (Sandy), Dean Williams (Donna) and Sally Roth. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
