He is survived by: his wife Sharon "Sherry" Hegdal; his daughters, Carrie Gertsema (Rick) and Patty Kasinak; his grandchildren, Sara, Emily, Holly, Andrea and Aaron; and his brothers, Joe (Delia) and Dan (Judy). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
