Merlin Lowell left this world on March 23, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrl Zimmerman and Irene Zimmerman (Mackrill); his wife Charlene Miller; his sister Darlene; and his great grandchild Natalie.
He is survived by: his close friend Elaine Johnson-Hess of Shell Lake, WI; his sons, Steven (Shari) of Duluth, Greg (Diane Kauppi) of Hermantown and Mark (Cheryl) of Duluth; his brother Dale (Jackie) of St. Francis, MN; his grandchildren, Greg Jr. (Jen) of Mounds View, MN, Joel (Kimberly Crouse) of Webster, WI, Amanda of Duluth, Tomas (Amanda) of Little Falls, MN and April (Craig) of Superior, WI; his great grandchildren, Austin, Tanner, Nolan, Daniel, Colin, Hailey, Caleb and Ainsley; and his great great grandchild Genesis.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cremation Society of Mn (4100 Grand Ave, Duluth, MN 55807). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
