Mary Catherine Murphy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2024, at the age of 85, Mary Catherine Murphy of Hermantown, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Murphy and Gertrude Murphy; her siblings, Leo, Patrick, Eileen, Paul and James; and her niece Kathleen.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Marianne Murphy and Eva Murphy. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Dougherty Funeral Home (600 E 2nd St, Duluth, MN 55805). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Raphael's Church (5779 Seville Rd, Hermantown, MN 55811).
