She was predeceased by: her parents, Case Hoogland and Agnes Hoogland (Christensen); and her siblings-in-law, Rose Mary Spaulding, Orville, Robert and Frederick "Joe" Newell.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Newell (Bud); her siblings, Carol Boot (Arnie) and Chuck Hoogland (L'Myra); and her nieces and nephews, Julie Fischer, Megan Dell (Tony), Ellen Hoogland, Steve Boot (Janet) and Ben Hoogland (Chantelle).
