He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Bjorlin (Andersen) and Albert Bjorlin. He is survived by: his wife Carol Opien; his children, Scott, Sheryl Perko (Ken), Todd, Linda Solstrand and Ross (Marlo); his grandchildren, Kari, Kristen, Parker, Alex and Evan; and his brother Bill.
