He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. MacDougall and Sarah MacDougall (Hancock); his wives, Mary Ann Peterson and Mary Lou McCuskey; his siblings, Gordon and Margaret; and his pet Maggie.
He is survived by: his children, Barry (Donna), Tracy and Timothy (Christine); his grandchildren, Casey, Bradley and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Jacob and Devon; and his siblings-in-law, Lois MacDougall (Gordon) and Ronald McCuskey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family requests memorials be directed to https://www.honorflightnorthland.org which made it possible for John and two of his life-long friends to take the once in a lifetime Honor Flight trip to Washington DC, or to Salem Lutheran Church in Hermantown, MN.
