He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Gordon Ernst (Michael Lynch), Gail Ernst, Gerald Ernst (Theresa), Rory Ernst (Joan), Tammy Kitchenmaster (Dale) and Todd Ernst (Andrea Carrothers); his siblings, Leonard Ernst, Sr. and Janice Pederson (Rodney); and his sister-in-law Karon Engman. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
