With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Berntsen of Hermantown, Minnesota, who passed away on December 8, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Jampsa and Ellen Jampsa of Wolf Lake, MN.; her husbands, Donald Bjorlin and Raymond Berntsen; and her siblings, Enid Wells and Roy Jampsa.
She is survived by: her children, Duane Bjorlin (Celeste), Dean Bjorlin (Marijo), Peggy Carlson and Daniel "Dugan" Bjorlin (Jenny); her brother Edwin "Butch" Jampsa (Vivian); and her grandchildren, Jonathan Carlson (MaShawn Wilson), Jessica Kasper (Isaac), Christopher Carlson (Kainani Bye), David Bjorlin, Karen Carlson (Nick Kaniewski), Bryan Bjorlin, Tiffany Baune (Jason), Stephen Bjorlin, Jeffrey Bjorlin (Jacquie), Anna Graves (Peter) and Joshua Bjorlin (Dani). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, a public memorial service will be planned when it is safe to gather again.
