It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Kallio of Hermantown, Minnesota, born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Leslie and Mabel Leslie; her stepfather Oscar Carlson; her husbands, Ralph Schiefelbein and Ed Kallio; her stepson Jeff Kallio; her grandson Daniel Schiefelbein; and her brother-in-law Dan McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Schiefelbein (Liz) and Dawn Leitner (Dan); her siblings, Joann McDonald, Ron Leslie (Dolly) and Jerry Leslie (Pat); her stepdaughter Stephanie Heilig (Jim); and her stepdaughter-in-law Chris Kallio. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and spouses; 16 great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held next spring and any memorial donations may be made to: Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 219 N 6th Ave E, Duluth, MN 55805.
