It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Wayne Johnson of Hermantown, Minnesota, born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Rita; his siblings, Franklyn and Margaret; and his niece Linda. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Annette Goyette and Suzette Goyette; his siblings-in-law, Darlene Johnson and Al Turnquist; and his nieces and nephews, Dean Turnquist, David Johnson, Jan Jessup and Susan Northey. He is also survived by step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be used to support our local Junior Bowling Programs.
