She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Rustad and Agnes Rustad of Luke's Hospital; her husband Kermit Peterson; her son Geoffrey; her granddaughter Shana; and her siblings, Lester, David and Adeline.

She is survived by: her cousins, Arlene and Maxine; her family, Gregory, Gary and Geoffrey; her son Gregory Peterson (Kathy) of Centerville, MN; her grandson Trent Peterson (Janine); her great grandchildren, Ty, Christian, Angelia and Giles of Stillwater, MN; her grandson Travis Peterson (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Summer and Samantha of North Oaks, MN; her son Gary (Connie Samsa); her grandchildren, Eric and Sara (Patrick); her children, Vicki, James Kindseth and Maren Kramp Meadow (Mathew); her grandchildren, Madison, Dylan and Ashelyn; her son Kyle Kindseth Wasilla (Alice); her grandchildren, Isabel, Olivia, Ava and Rory; her great grandchild Dane; her brother Vernon of Minneapolis; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Weston (Emily) and Robin (Jason); her daughter Jennifer Minneapolis (Ryan); her grandchild Juniper; her great grandchild Nicholas Rustad (Travis) of Minneapolis, MN.; her sister-in-law Judy Peterson Cold (Lyle); her children, David (Andrea), Anja, Jacob and Kristin; her grandchildren, Bennett and Lea; her children, Morgan Wisneski, Benjamin Wisneski and Abby; her nephew Kevin Rustad of Duluth; her sons, Jim Elwell of Duluth and Martin Elwell (Nikki); her grandsons, Jacob and Isaac; and also, Addy Tardy (Mike) of Duluth, James Scott (Jenny), Jack, Joe, Anna of Littleton, CO, Jeremy Scott of Shoreview, MN, Jessica Reelfs (David), Berkley, Beckett, Bija of Shoreview, MN., Louisa Chanhassen, Robin Mainella (Gene) of Duluth, Heather Mainella (Joe) of St. Louis Park, MN. and Wray (Kirsten).
