He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Bartell and Anna Bartell (DeGroote); his sister Neva Jane Bartell; and his siblings-in-law, Jack O'Connor, David Olson, Harlan Schmadeke, Ray Shaffer, Larry Winkey, Jack Shultz, Arlene Winkey, Marilyn Shipp and Cindy Schmadeke.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Schmadeke; his children, Tricia Bartell of Bismarck, ND, Todd Bartell (Steph) of Norcross, MN, Tiffany Enriquez (Brad Heitzman) of Sartell, MN and Tyson Bartell (Jessica) of Herman, MN; his grandchildren, Atlantah, Lexi, Parker Bartell, Dylan, Ethan, Aidan Enriquez, Ava and Harper Bartell; his great grandchild Jasiah Droen; his siblings, Robert Bartell (Jan) of Madison, MN, Janice O'Connor of Fargo, ND and Patti Olson of Kensington, MN; and his friend Charles Enriquez of Sartell, MN.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Public visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-6 pm at the United Methodist Church with COVID restrictions.
