He was predeceased by: his parents, John Austvold and Julia Austvold (Strand); his siblings, Norris, Paul Austvold and Joane Aumann; and his sister-in-law Mary Austvold.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Austvold; his children, Kirsten (Kelly Kleven) and Michael (Candy Austvold); his grandchildren, Maryssa, Auremie, Lexi, Atley, Mason, Desi and Anna; his great grandchild Bennett; his nephew Jon; and his nieces, Jane, Julie and Stephanie.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Herman United Methodist Church (306 Hanover Ave S, Herman, MN 56248). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Moments Hospice or the Herman United Methodist Church.
