He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Torkelson and Shirley Torkelson; his sister Ann Anderson; his grandparents, Rosie, Alice Torkelson, Sigval and Marie Johnson; and his parents-in-law, Ernest and Delphine Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Torkelson; his daughter Christina Hammer (Eric); his granddaughters, AnnMarie and Jenna of Satellite Beach, Florida; his son Jon Torkelson of Henning, Minnesota; his brother-in-law Jerry Anderson of Virginia, MN; his sister Lora Torkelson of Tennessee; and his brother-in-law Duane Johnson of Dent, Minnesota.. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.
