She was predeceased by: her parents, Veronica Lazarz and Raymond Lazarz; and her sister Nancy. She is survived by: her husband John Ness; her children, Joseph Ness (Tracy), Jason Lazarz (Leanna Weidman), Peter Ness (Tasha) and Rachel O'Neil (Bryan); her grandchildren, Trevor, Alaina, Isaac, Megan, Mailee, Jonah, Grace and Chloe; and her sister Ruth Robinson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
