He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bode and Anna Bode (Trojahn); his brothers, Reinhold and Frank; and his son-in-law Bruce Janke.
He is survived by: his children, Norma Bode, Ellen Janke, Patricia Baney (Bob), Kenneth Bode and Daniel Bode (Holly Preston); and his brother Raymond Bode.
