He is survived by: his wife Ellen Reppe; his children, Eugene Bruns (Amanda Bloom) of Rudd, IA, Sheryl Bruns of Watertown, SD, Laura Ward (Eric) of Watertown, SD and James Bruns (Rachelle) of Watertown, SD; his grandchildren, Austin Bruns, Kaley, Karigan Zietz, Rhett Althoff, Aaron and Ruby Bruns; his sisters, Janet Deniger (Jim) and Gloria Jacobs; and his aunt Edith Monk. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
