He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Engesmoe and Hilda Engesmoe (Nordaune); his wife Ruth Christensen; his siblings, Cliff Engesmoe, Gelina, Judith, June and Pearl; and his siblings-in-law, Orris Olson, Harold Moffatt, Kenny Sommervold, Ron Weenink, Larry Fredricks, Vernon Christensen, Howard Dallenbach, Karen Fredricks and Josephine Christensen.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela, Harvey Engesmoe (Nadean) and Pam Ochocki (Bill); his grandchildren, Stacey Texley (Braden), Stephanie Pederson (Matt), Jared Ochocki of Hendricks, MN, Erin Kletscher (Randy) of Vesta, Jennifer Erion (Chris) of Montevideo and Joni Mesch (Brian) of Sioux Falls; his great grandchildren, Ayla, Colsen, Braxtyn, Callie, Jalyn, Maryn and Thielyn; his siblings, Joe Engesmoe (Helen), Helen Moffatt, Opal Benson (Chester) and Marcy Sommervold; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Christensen, Irene Engesemoe, Clarice Dallenbach and Karen Christensen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
