Helen Caven Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Caven in Hendricks, Minnesota, born in Pomeroy, Iowa, who passed away on December 30, 2020 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harm Doyen and Reka Doyen (Rosenboom); her husband Joseph Caven; her daughter Rita Caven; and her brothers, Lawrence and Raymond Doyen.

She is survived by: her children, Pam Nibbe (John) of Lake Benton, Peg Kietzer (Leon) of Madison, SD and Pat Caven (Gail) of Amboy; and her sister-in-law Ora Doyen. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are preferred to St. Matthew's Catholic Church, mailed to St. Teresa Catholic Church, 104 W Silver St, Mapleton, MN 56065.
