She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Christopherson and Gina Christopherson (Sommervold); her husband Walter Hemish; and her siblings, Harry, Clifford, Leonard, Kenneth Christopherson, Cora Petersen, Marcella Lang, Pearl Bergman, Viola Kloskin, Vada Blom, Joyce Anderson and Alice Leuning.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Hemish (Kim), Julie Hemish, Brian Hemish (Laurie), Brad Hemish (Suzanne) and Jill Hemish (Ross Kegler); her grandchildren, Andrew (Calley), Kaitlin, Allie (Wyatt Christiansen), Jacob (Bree Hansen), Daniel, Alexis and Nicholas; and her great grandchild Evelyn. She is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
