He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Koopman and Jeanette Koopman (Berg); and his siblings, Gary Koopman, Ruby Campbell, John Dale Koopman and Robert Koopman.
He is survived by: his wife Muriel Koopman; his children, James Koopman, Mark Koopman (Missy), Kevin Koopman and Noreen Zafft; his grandchildren, Jesse Zafft (Jessica) and Matthew Koopman; his great grandchildren, Abbie Grace and Tucker Zafft; and his siblings, Joel Koopman (Jan) and Wanice Hoff (Dick). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
