She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda Bekaert and Arp; her husband Frank Brown; her daughter Marilyn; her granddaughter Jennifer; her stepgrandson Seth Zencius; and her siblings, Leon, Ray, Liz, Donny and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, James Brown (Mary) of Toronto and Cindy Robish (Lonnie) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Michael Robbins, Derek "Bud" Brown (Logan) and Jessica McClain (Tanner); her great grandchildren, Clara Robbins, Laken Brown and Matthew Robbins; her stepgrandchildren, Zach Zencius, Heather Shay (Mike) and Grace Zencius-Whiskur (Dominick); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Maddox and Hayden Shay; and her brother Albert Bekaert of Gary. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
