He is survived by: his wife Joyce Maronde of Hendricks; his son James (Janean) of Brookings; his grandchildren, Sarah Jayom (Levi), John, Jeffrey, Samuel and Benjamin; his daughter Lisa Cavalieri (Robert); his grandsons, Nathaniel and Joseph Tobin of New Port Richey, Florida; his daughter Amy Coyle (Michael) of Waukon; his grandson Joshua Coyle (Kylie); his great grandchildren, Kollins and Maverick; his brother Curt Caugherty (Leslie) of Bryan, Texas; his stepbrother Paxton Reinecker (Connie) of Banning, California; his uncle Roger Trooien of Balaton; and his aunt Ardis Bengtson of Marshall.
