He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wester and Mary Wester (Miller); his wife Carol Lundberg (Lundberg); and his siblings, William, Walter, Roger and Alice Hendershott.

He is survived by: his children, Kari Hartzell (Preston) of Lebanon, N. H, Heidi Lang (Jason) of Henderson, MN and Douglas Wester (Abbey) of Minneapolis, MN.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
