He is survived by: his wife Virge Ann (Brecht) of Hector; his sons, Scott Peterson (Mary) of Sauk Centre and Bradley Peterson (Shelly Lange) of Hector; his grandchildren, Randy Peterson (Rachel) of Starbuck, Amanda Quinlan (David) of Monticello and Kelly Peterson (Trevor Zastro) of Long Prairie; his great grandchildren, Evan, Natalee Quinlan of Monticello and Nolan Peterson of Starbuck; his brother Leland Peterson (Flora) of Hector; and his stepsiblings, Dale Patton (Shirley) of Gaylord and Vonnie McGown (Roger) of Mankato.
