He is survived by: his wife Doris Johnson of Hector; his children, Brenda Jensen of Hector, Larry Dean (Kathy) of Hector and Jennifer Kumsher (Greg) of Garner, IA; his grandchildren, Alanna Kalenberg (Dylan), Rachel Dean, Lily Dean, Tyler Kumsher (Kyleigh), Ryan Kumsher and Megan Kumsher; his great grandchild Aubriella Kumsher; his brother Gary Dean (Gail) of Hutchinson; and his sister-in-law Joyce Dean of Hector. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
