It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Johnson of Hector, Minnesota, born in Havelock, Iowa, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnson and Ella Johnson (Rouse); and his siblings, Roland "Stub" Johnson, Garner Johnson and Normadean Enright Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Johnson of Buffalo Lake, MN; his children, Joel Johnson (Joyce) of New Ulm, MN, Paul Johnson of Lake City, MN, Jonathan Johnson (Michelle) of New Ulm, MN, Heidi Baumgardt of Hector, MN, Gretchen Curtis (Jerry) of Britt, MN, Sarah Barfknecht (Alan) of Montrose, MN, Kari Brueggemeier of Lester Prairie, MN and Many; and his sister-in-law Jane Johnson of Tyler, TX. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives and friends.
