He is survived by: his wife Karen Schanke of Hector; his children, Timothy Doering (Dana) of Cold Spring, Shannon Gipaya (Robert) of Honolulu and Scott Doering of Hector; his grandchildren, Alyssa Kurth (Phillip), Danielle Standfield, Casey and Carson Gipaya; his great grandchildren, Jaxson and Maddox Kurth; and his siblings, Lawrence Doering, Alice Houck and Donna Doering. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
