With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arthur W. Schafer Jr. of Hector, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Schafer (Voight) and Arthur Sr. Schafer; his siblings, Franklin Schafer (Gloria), Arvil Schafer, Elnora "Mickey" Scheffler (Dick), Elroy Schafer (Marlys), Eugene Schafer (Martha) and Orlin Schafer; and his brothers-in-law, Darrell Carlson, Mike Olinger and Dale Carlson.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Schafer of Hector; his children, Kristi LaMorgia (Victor) of Fargo, ND and Mitchell Schafer of Hawley, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Olinger of Buffalo Lake, MN and Audrey Carlson of Texas. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
