He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Nemec and Anne Nemec (Humlicek); his wife Elaine; and his siblings, Loretta and Tom.
He is survived by: his children, Edith Erickson (Brian) of Lakeville, Robin Christenson (Kevin) of Ostrander, Renee Wangen of Austin, Eileen Nemec of Robbinsdale, Ron Nemec (Darla) of Eden Prairie and Russ Nemec (Sheri) of Hayward; his siblings-in-law, Audrey Nemec of Rush City and Harold Kermes of Hayward; and his grandchildren, Seth, Emma, Jessica, Jordan, Tony, Thomas, David, Matthew and Travis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Cemetery Fund.
