He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Thompson and Bernice Thompson (Trom); and his sister Cynthia LaVan. He is survived by: his children, Nichole, Colton (Christa Decker) and Connor Thompson; his grandchildren, Hannah, Kovin and Brantley; his sisters, Patsy Wiegman (Richard) and Rita Tufte (Denis); and his brother-in-law Russell LaVan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
