He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert and Margo (Pagels); his wife Bonnie Lafrenz (Cummins); his sisters, Eleanore Popp, Dorothy McGee and Alberta Lafrenz; his brothers-in-law, Robert Lauinger and Maurice Popp; and his stepgrandson Emmett Leroy Vincent.
He is survived by: his sister Lorna Lauinger of Austin, MN; his stepchildren, Debbie Peterson, Linnea, Suzie Peterson (Steve Woslager), David and Sheila Gill (Dean); and his brother-in-law Joseph McGee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
