It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floris Holderness of Hayfield, Minnesota, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Floris Holderness to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Florence Voorhees and Edward Voorhees; her grandmother Ida Peterson; her sons, Steven Henslin (Libby) and Allan Henslin (Linda); her grandchildren, Jennifer Ryg (Jacob), Andrew Henslin (Crystal), Melynda Jackson (Chris), Rebecca Bakkedahl (Jason), Matthew Henslin (Luda) and Peter Henslin (Jenni); her sister Joyce Kienitz (Elmer); her sister-in-law Dorine Voorhees; her husbands, Warren Henslin and Gene Holderness; her brother Keith Voorhees; her great grandchild Noah Bakkedahl; and also, Joyce and Keith. She was also cherished by her thirteen great grandchildren.
Due to COVID19 concerns, Flo's immediate family held a small, private service in her honor.
The couple built their home and their life from the bottom up, laying a foundation of cooperation while living for several months in just the basement of their little house.
