He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Darlene Paape (Virgil), Carol Wendelken (Gene) and Larry Riess (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Matthew Paape, Brett Paape (Kayla), Vanessa Daugherty (James), Daniel Wendelken and Monica Riess (Jennifer King); his great grandchildren, Travis Paape (Abby), Maria Paape (Victor Torrez), Michaela Paape, Emily Paape and Katelynn Paape; his great great grandchildren, Briella Paape, Wyatt Torrez and Braxton Paape; and his brother-in-law Allen Anderson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
