He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Nelson and Emma Nelson (Omberg); and his siblings, Barbara, Delores, Janet and Ralph, Jr..
He is survived by: his siblings, Muriel Grefsrud and Robert Nelson (Twylla). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hegland Lutheran Church (25494 40th Ave S, Hawley, MN 56549). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Hegland Lutheran Church Cemetery (25494 40th Ave S, Hawley, MN 56549).
