It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Leon Bjerke of Hawley, Minnesota, who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Bjerke and Selma Bjerke (Jensen); and his great grandchild Fenyx Graciano. He is survived by: his wife Susan Wallace; his children, Ennet Sprunk (Gary) of Hawley, MN, Teresa Saunders (Mark) of Fargo, ND, Melissa Peterson (Charles) of Moorhead, MN and Leon Bjerke of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Colin Sprunk and Serena Graciano (Rafael); his great grandchildren, Emerson Graciano and Allegra Graciano; and his siblings, Avis Pollock, Donna Rognlie, Niles Bjerke (Shirley) and Raymond Bjerke.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (404 Leonard St, Hawley, MN 56549). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Andrew's Catholic Church (1418 Main St, Hawley, MN 56549).
