He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brokate and Mildred Brokate (Luckason); his son Brent Brokate; and his sisters, Geraldine Weets and Diane Wamre.
He is survived by: his wife Faye; his children, Brenda Brokate Wagner (Mark), Beth Germolus (Nathan), Becky Richards (Chad) and Bruce Brokate (Heidi); his grandchildren, Emily Johnson (Brad), Samuel Germolus (Stephanie), Savannah Bechtel (Matthew), Madison Weide (Blake), Ava Brokate, Max Brokate and Wil Brokate; and his great grandchildren, Bhrooklyn, Mia, Owen and Noah. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Lysne Lutheran Church or Ethos Hospice.
