He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Gilbertson and Ruth Gilbertson (O'Conner); and his son Edward. He is survived by: his wife Marlys Weston Pahl; his children, Shelley Sulier (Kevin) of Kerkhoven, Sherry Norstedt (Jon) of New London and Daryl Gilbertson of Hawick; his daughter-in-law Kris Gilbertson of New London; and his siblings, Ramona Hall of Minneapolis, Craig Hartwick of Minneapolis, Lori Jennings (Patrick) of Mukwonago, WI and Dawne Soldnor (Russ) of Reeseville, WI. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
